18 days new {Phoenix, AZ Newborn Photographer}

Even though she was a little bit older than most of my newborns, sweet baby Reagan slept like a champ during her session :) I absolutely loved her squishy lips and all that dark beautiful hair!










Working with newborns and capturing these first few weeks of life is such an honor to me, and I so appreciate each and every one of these sessions!

Aah, nothing sweeter than spending time with your cousins in the summertime. This adorable set of cousins had a blast during our session, might be because of all the silliness going on behind the camera, but I'll never tell ;)

Emil & Maja {Sweden and Phoenix AZ Children Photographer}

Next on my Sweden blogging list is Emil and Maja. I met these two cuties in their home on a sunny afternoon, we had such luck with the Swedish weather this time around, it can be really unpredictable and rainy but I have to say that we had more sun than rain this time which was very appreciated!

Growing up knowing both parents, it was so fun to photograph their little mini me's ;)

Sweet little M {Scottsdale, AZ Newborn Photographer}

I had the privilege of meeting and taking photos of this precious girl a few weeks ago. She was so sweet, and very alert in the beginning, however she did decide to take a nap towards the end of my stay ;) Her parents are so in love with their little girl and I just loved documenting this precious time in their lives.

Clickin Moms Monthly Challenge... Close Up Portraiture {Ahwatukee AZ Childrens Photographer}

Time again for my monthly blog circle. January's theme was close up portraiture. I found this impromptu set of photos of my son to be very fitting as we had a very serious conversation while I was shooting. I love how smart and thoughtful he was with his answers that afternoon, even though he didn't want to answer all the questions I had ;) He is growing up way to fast, and I am so glad to have these photos of him, I will always remember our desert conversations through these. Little Baby E {Phoenix, AZ Noewborn Photographer}

Sweet little E was my last newborn session of 2012, and what a prefect way to end the year! This sweetie was so content and slept like an angel most of the time. I absolutely loved watching this sweet family interact, so much love and happiness here. Big sister was so sweet and amazed over her new little sister, and I can only imagine how much fun they are going to have growing up.

Such a fun and lively family! We met a late evening for a quick family session. Most family sessions with little kids are pretty quick... not many toddlers love to pose for the camera, especially boys ;) However, if you ask them to act silly and make faces, they are all in! So much fun, thank you for a great time!

Actions Review {Marissa Gifford Photography ~ The Signature Set}

I recently had the privilege of testing a brand new set of Photoshop Actions from the very talented Marissa at Marissa Gifford Photography. I've always been a huge fan of Marissa's work and was so excited when she announced that she was working on an action set. To be picked as a tester was beyond exciting and she didn't disappoint!

This action set contains 32 actions, and it has everything you would need from start to finish. It has workflow actions, black and white actions, helper actions, and tones/hazes for that finishing touch.

What I absolutely LOVE about this set is that it works on any kind of photo, I use them on both indoor and outdoor photos and I'm easily able to create any look I want from light and airy to deep and rich. I also love them for my newborn work. They are easy to understand, and can be played on top of each other, which makes a big difference to me. I don't think I've found anything I don't like about this set, and I am very picky ;)

This set was JUST released yesterday and there is a $20 discount for the first 48 hours. Go snag this set up asap, I know I would!

Sweet baby AJ {Ahwatukee AZ Newborn Photographer}

This little guy was so sweet. He tried his very best to stay awake, but finally decided to sleep for us, once he tuckered out there was nothing that would bother him. I absolutely love newborn sessions, nothing more precious than a brand new baby and I feel so blessed to capture these precious moments for new families.
